About

Hello, my name is Sean Rackowski. I just graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, with a Masters Degree in Infrastructure Planning, and a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. During my time at NJIT, I worked as Architectural Intern for the company Spiezle, and as an Assistant at the Littman Architecture Library. I earned a 3.95 GPA, placed on NJIT’s Dean’s List, and received numerous scholarships, including from the Construction Roundtable of New Jersey, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. During my time in the Infrastructure Planning program, I participated in a studio-based international competition, sponsored by the Schindler Group, focused on the city of Mumbai, India. Our studio project, “HYDROHOODS OF TO-MORROW” won First Honorable Mention, and was featured in ARCHITECT Magazine, where we also won the Studio Prize sponsored by Sloane. I was also part of a collaborative studio with the City of Newark’s Office of Planning and Zoning, and Bloomberg Associates, to create a large-scale, 3D-printed model of the city’s downtown, for the city’s up and coming Master Plan. My experience ranges from prior architectural internships, to architectural and international competitions, to proficiency in architecture-related softwares, and research assistance in the academic field. I look forward to the opportunity to work as an intern for your firm.
