About

Hello, my name is Sean Rackowski. I just graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture, and Masters Degree in Infrastructure Planning. I am looking for an entry-level, internship, designer, or junior architect’s position to begin my career.

During my time at NJIT, I worked as Architectural Intern for the firms Spiezle Group and ThinkForm Architects, and as an Assistant at the Littman Architecture Library. I earned a 3.95 GPA, placed on NJIT’s Dean’s List, and received several scholarships, including from the Construction Roundtable Association of New Jersey, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson.

I also participated in a studio-based international competition, sponsored by the Schindler Group, focused on the city of Mumbai, India. Our studio project, “HYDROHOODS OF TO-MORROW” won 4th place out of a 1,000 global submissions, and was featured in ARCHITECT Magazine, where we also won the Studio Prize sponsored by Sloane. I was also part of a collaborative studio with the City of Newark’s Office of Planning and Zoning, and Bloomberg Associates, to create a large-scale, 3D-printed model of the city’s downtown.

My experience ranges from prior architectural internships, international architectural competitions, experience in industry-related softwares, such as Revit and Rhino, and research assistance in the academic field. I look forward to the opportunity to work for your firm.

Sincerely,

Sean Rackowski
