The studio is investigating ‘Cultures of Assembly’ in spatial, political and social terms and in an integrated and holistic way. Each student has developed an individual understanding of a series of examples of informal or formal spaces of politics, ranging from the Occupy Camp in Frankfurt, via the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg to the seemingly generic design specifications for a series of national and international parliamentary chambers.
For Rundgang, the group has produced a newsprint, which presents a condensed version of the ongoing inquiry, presented in the format of individual posters collected within the physical container of a newspaper.
