SAC congratulates Prof. Gabriela Seifert and Götz Stöckmann of Formalhaut as winners of the Baukunstpreis 2012. Their project, the Living Room, outside Frankfurt, was celebrated for the underlying, unique and trans-disciplinary design vision. In addition, Prof. Claudio Vekstein, Prof. Holger Hoffmann and, respectively, Bernd Mey and Christian Pantzer received honourable mentions. The Baukunstpreis was awarded by the Stiftung Städelschule für Baukunst for the first time ever and the award ceremony was held in the German Architecture Museum and featured a memorable speech by Sir Peter Cook, SAC's former Dean.
