Takehiko Nagakura's lecture is entitled "Design Representation: Emerging Methods and Contents." Nagakura is an Associate Professor, and the Director of Computation Group at MIT Architecture Department. The talk will discuss academic research at Computational Design Lab at MIT’s School of Architecture. It will focus on the computational representation of architectural space and formal design knowledge. It will also discuss current research on digital heritage uses photogrammetric modeling, panoramic videos, game engine, and drones to capture important architectural heritage such as the villas of Andrea Palladio and represent them in a novel interactive format.
