The National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science, Inc. (GEM), a nonprofit organization, was formed to help assist underrepresented groups (African Americans, American Indians, and Hispanic Americans) at the masters and doctoral levels in engineering and the physical sciences.
The Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture (SoA) is pleased to support the GEM Fellowship by offering GEM recipients additional funding to help to defray the overall cost of our M.S. and PhD graduate programs. If you are interested in shaping the future of the built environment consider applying to GEM and the SoA.
GEM Candidate Admission Process
Interested candidates must first apply for the National GEM Consortium Fellowship by the application deadline of November 15, 2021 at 11:59pm ET.
