Assistant Professor Nikole Bouchard has been accepted to be a MacDowell Fellow at The MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire this summer. “The MacDowell Colony is the nation’s leading artist colony. The Colony offers creative individuals of the highest talent an inspiring environment in which they can produce enduring works of the imagination. Each year 250 Fellowships, or residencies, are awarded to artists in seven disciplines (architecture, music composition, film and video, interdisciplinary art, theatre, visual art, and literature). Artists-in-residence receive room, board, and exclusive use of one of the 32 studios on the property for up to eight weeks.”

After her stay at the MacDowell Colony, Nikole will travel to Iceland, to be an Artist in Residence at The Baer Art Center in Hofsos, Iceland. She will be one of five international architects or artists selected for this program. Complete information about the program is available at:

Most recently, Nikole’s project NEST(led) was selected to be exhibited in the NEST Gallery Exhibition at the Richard Levy Gallery in Albuquerque, New Mexico from March 20th to April 3rd 2015.
