Bengal Engineering and Science University

was established in 24 November 1856 as the

Calcutta Civil Engineering College,From the

BISHOP'S COLLEGE in the British Raj to

Bengal Engineering College in Independent

INDIA and then to the status of a Deemed

University and finally to a full fledged State

University has been a long journey.Besides

this,University is on verge of elavation to IIEST

Engineering disciplines including architecture,

M.Sc. in 5 disciplines and MBA.
