The objective of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Architecture program is to prepare professionals who will plan, design, construct and manage the architectural and urban spaces required by human beings for their integral development. Graduates are designers of sustainable spaces, promoters of real-estate opportunities, with a solid urban and environmental awareness and a command of design, representation and construction technologies. They demonstrate an attitude of critical thinking, a humanistic approach, and a social and ethical commitment to environmental protection and the economic and social enhancement of their communities.
An Architect will be able to:

Conceive architectural and urban spaces that meet the needs and aspirations of their inhabitants and users, allowing for all the ethical, social and economic implications.

Create architectural and urban design projects, taking into account the structural and construction characteristics, complying with safety and construction regulations, considering the environmental implications and applying ecological and sustainability principles.

Plan, budget and manage the material and financial resources of construction projects and works, applying the principles of reusing, recycling and reducing.

Identify entrepreneurship opportunities and realize them through the generation of real-estate investment proposals and economic feasibility projects.

Know and be aware of the economic, social and political reality in their environment, acting with solidarity and responsibility to improve the quality of life in communities.
