The Kharkiv School of Architecture is a private university. Our ambition is to become the best school of architecture in Eastern Europe, to start a new tradition in Ukrainian architecture and to train a new generation of architects and urbanists with profound professional knowledge and up-to-date skills who are able to think critically and to take responsibility for their work.
The School meets the world standards of university education in architecture and urbanism and formulates the agenda to set new standards of architectural education in Ukraine. The first (bachelor’s) and the second (master’s) tiers of university education that the School provides in Specialization 191 “Architecture and Urban Planning” are licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Founded in 2017 in Kharkiv, the School has already become a communication platform for the Ukrainian and the international architectural communities, promoting an exchange of the latest knowledge and new ideas. Together with renowned experts, the team of the School designs and launches unique educational programmes, which are innovative both for Ukraine and the whole world.
Today’s Ukraine is undergoing profound transformations, in particular, in its architecture and urban environment; to ensure their sustainability, our profession needs a new kind of specialists and opinion leaders. The School aims at training a generation of professionals who will successfully realize their ambitions internationally and fill the current critical gap in the profession.
