Selected Courses:
Dissertation: “Community Participation in Development_Alexandra Township, South Africa.” Designed project proposal and methodology including four weeks of field research within the township. Worked with community members to further understand successful township development.
Transforming Local Cities: Conducted urban analysis of the utilization of public space within Newham, a developing borough in East London. Worked on team to develop design interventions for the revitalization of this area. Presented proposed designs to the Newham Development Council.
Community Participation: Surveyed South London borough to develop live maps depicting community assets for community use. Organized a community planning committee to tutor community members with the skills to continue developing the live maps in accordance with future urban development plans.

Five-year professional architectural degree incorporating hand-drawing skills along with computer skills to design many projects independently and collaboratively. Took two study abroad programs - 5 months in Rome, Italy and 3 weeks in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Selected Courses:
Study Abroad South Africa, Summer 2013: Researched proper methodology to work with a developing community. Traveled to South Africa to work with local community members to produce a master plan proposal in the Alexandra Township. Presented completed design to community.
Design X: Designed and developed a community center within a developing township. Applied sustainable strategies to create an off-grid design. Utilized programs AutoCAD, Revit, the Adobe Suite, and produced hand drawings to present project to professionals and center users.
Study Abroad Rome, Spring 2012: Worked in teams of three to produce a competition board entered into worldwide architecture competition Arturbain. Designed and developed interventions along the Via Papalis, an existing renowned walk through Rome.
