My name is Sarah Williams and I am working towards becoming a licensed architect. Shortly after graduating from the Architecture+Planning Program at the University of Colorado, Boulder, I started working at a small Architecture & Design studio in beautiful Durango, Colorado. I am currently involved in all aspects of the design and construction process, from initial sit downs with potential clients, through the programming, design, bidding, and finally the construction phase of the project. Working at a small firm has allowed me to grow tremendously getting daily interaction with the principal architect.
I am looking to relocate to a large city to continue my education through work, and eventually enroll in school part time to work towards my masters. I feel that work and school are two completely different types of education, both equally important as I continue my development as a designer.
