I am Sanjana Masurkar, a Providence-based architecture graduate originally from the city of Mumbai.
I believe that the world is not still and architecture adapts to the society. My objective is to use my skills in a design organization and thereby grow and become a competent professional. This portfolio is a culmination of selected projects from my most recent studio and professional experience.
Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Graduate Assistant

- Lecture Series 2020-2021
Assisted in managing and co-ordinating lecturers for the series, Systems of Architecture that explores the power at work throughout the built environment. Through a series of conversations, practitioners, writers, researchers, artists, and urbanists discussions revolve around labor, borders, hierarchies of knowledge, economics, and privatization in the field of architecture and design.
- Spring Exhibition Collaboration with The Canadian Centre for Architecture
A proposal to invite the international remote students of RISD and their networks to become bureau chiefs and report their experiences as studio dispatches. Assisted Surplus+ a multidisciplinary team of designers in developing and producing the website that visually indexes student audio reports.
Self Employed, Designer
Sanghvi Residence:
Designed and executed the interiors for a 1200 sq. ft three-bedroom apartment in Santacruz, Mumbai.
- Developed conceptual design layouts, construction drawings, furniture details and interior renders.
- Prepared bill of quantities, material selection, site visits and coordination with consultants and contractor.
William’s Residence:
Redesigned and executed the living room interiors for a two-bedroom apartment in Kandivali, Mumbai.

Archilogics Design Pvt Ltd (Now Saket Sethi Design), Junior Architect
Key involvement in projects ranging from architecture and interior design, involvement in art and production design and logistics for television show - Design HQ on Fox Life India.
- Developed conceptual plans and project layouts and drafted comprehensive construction and service drawings on AutoCAD and Revit along with 3D modelling on Rhinoceros and SketchUp for pertaining projects.
- Co-ordinated with structural engineers and project consultants and ensured accuracy of drawings and details.
- Oversaw bill of quantities, project scheduling, selection of vendors and materials, site execution and supervision.
- Handled site meetings with contractors along with client co-ordination.
Studio ESsemble, Architecture Intern
Designed layouts and drafted construction drawings for landscape, residential and hospitality projects.
- Created construction drawing sets for residential and hospitality projects on AutoCAD.
- Developed initial design proposals for commercial and hospitality interior projects.
- Researched on development of coastal lighthouses as tourism destinations across India for proposal to the Ministry of Shipping of India.
- Led a team for participation in an architecture competition to design a sustainable and culturally responsive city gate for Raipur City, India.
