Navadapt Lab

The Navadapt Lab is an ADA kitchen prototype for the wheelchair user. Its central design principle is a consolidated work triangle, allowing the cooking process to unfold from one position. Reality-computing technologies and VR systems were used in the design process to evaluate iterations. The first prototype was displayed at the 2016 REAL Conference in San Francisco, designed and built by a collaborative team called The Urban Design Build Studio.
