The Alpha Rho Chi Bronze Medal is awarded annually at accredited schools of architecture in the United States and Canada to honor graduating seniors who have demonstrated leadership, service, and the promise of professional merit. The recipients of the medal are decided by the faculty of each school.

Tau Sigma Delta National Honor Society, Other

Tau Sigma Delta is the only national honor society in architecture. It was established in 1913 at the University of Michigan and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. The primary purpose of this honor society is to recognize the academic achievement of architecture and design students who are ranked in the top 20% of their class.

This award recognizes the strong academic record and exemplary achievement of undergraduate students who further distinguished their intellectual accomplishments, and enhanced the reputation of the University by contributing to the campus community in one or more of the following ways:

Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, Award

The Louis Armstrong Jazz Award was inaugurated in 1974 with the consent of his widow shortly after this great jazz artist died in 1971. It honors the outstanding jazz musician at each high school. To preserve the integrity of the Armstrong Award, schools are limited to one set of student awards per year or two in the event of a tie.

Semper Fidelis Musical Excellence Award, Award

Each year the United States Marines Youth Foundation, Inc. awards approximately 15,000 Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence certificates to deserving high school students. High school band directors from across the nation submit their student nominations for the year. The United States Marines Youth Foundation, Inc. provides the certificates to these schools free of charge. This certificate program is a tool that educators have to recognize deserving students and works towards keeping the Arts alive in our schools.
