CGL / Ricci Greene Associates, Lexington, KY, US, Designer - Associate
Since 2006, I have devoted my architectural career to the planning and design of justice facilities. I strive for solutions, informed by best practices and design excellence, that improve the daily experiences and interactions of the public, staff, and the incarcerated. My body of work, in jurisdictions around the country, spans a wide range of scales and complexities, and includes new construction, renovation, jails, statewide prison master plans, and, county and federal courthouse projects. My diverse experience – designer, programmer, planning, project manager, web-site administrator, and firm BIM committee member – provides me with a broad and unique experience base. I adopted Building Information Management (BIM) software at the outset of my career, and have embraced the wealth of benefits it offers. I also look for opportunities to leverage new media and technology as tools for organizing project data, generating new ideas, creating efficiency, and conveying information. Versatility is intrinsic, and built upon my own curiosity, variety of interests, collaborative professional experiences, and education at the University of Kentucky, School of Architecture.
