Ryan Klinger

About

Ryan attended Woodbury University in Los Angeles, California, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree. After graduation he moved to Huntington Beach, Ca. for 2 years where he worked as the Senior Solar Designer for a company specializing in installing residential solar photovoltaic systems in Southern California. He decided to continue his passion for architecture by returning to his home state and pursued a post-professional M.S. of Architecture degree at IIT with Dirk Denison as advisor. His thesis dissertation focused on an argument to establish the validity of the single family home as a continued building model. Shortly after commencement, Ryan designed and developed metal fabrication drawings for renowned Chicago architects Tigerman & McCurry, Pappageorge Haymes and others with Obrien Metals. Following his passion back to residential design, Ryan began working with Randall Architects throughout Riverside and Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. Fall of 2017 provided Ryan with an opportunity to relocate to the East Coast. He continues to develop and hone his craft while working with architect and mentor Joel Newman at Thomas & Denzinger Architects in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Ryan is interested in building furniture, exploring new cultures and cities across the world, golfing and various activities that get him outside and in nature.
