From working at Expo Design Center and architecture firms across New York and Nevada, I have gained commercial and residential architecture and interior design experience. Attaining a formal education in architecture, engineering, energy and environmental management has prepared me to take on the future complexities of the profession. From achieving LEED AP credentials to contributing towards three LEED Certified commercial building projects, I feel privileged to have participated in creating sustainable buildings. As a recent graduate from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, Doctor of Architecture program, I have been trained by prestigious architects and internationally competent professors. From taking part in designing a 100% renewable energy residence to completing a doctorate project regarding passive design for office buildings in the Northeast, I have researched and applied advanced building technologies to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort in the home and workplace. I have also had the opportunity to receive training from two of the previous presidents of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and have participated in designing high profile interiors for the corporate capital office of Verizon, Inc. and the corporate headquarters for Hubbell, Inc.
