Ruoya Li is a young designer who has been pursuing her architectural education internationally for 7 years. She is currently based in Los Angeles and enrolled
at the Southern California Institute of Architecture where she is running for the M.Arch degree, while improving and refining her design skills, critical thinking, and theoretical knowledge. She will graduate this September.
Ruoya experienced her bachelor at Kent State University in which she learned the necessary basics of building design, meanwhile confirming my interest in the direction of contemporary architecture techniques.
Practical experience is another domain of her pursuits. She was an intern at
the Chinese Academy of Building Research for three months. During that time, she participated in a mixed-use complex design (HOPSCA) in China. She was an intern at the StudioTEKA 2017 summer and worked on project 2100: A Dystopian Utopia. Ruoya is highly motivated and hard working. Cheerful, easy-going, sensible and serious define her as a person.
