RPH Architecture has served commercial and residential clients in the mid-Atlantic region since 1999. We engage with our clients in a spirit of collaboration and are responsive to both their needs and those of the project. We aspire to craft highly aesthetic designs, though our ultimate success lies in making real buildings for real people.

RPH is both an interpreter that can take the client’s needs and translate them into an appropriate design solution, and an expediter, moving the project forward to a timely end. Our designs respect the context of the site and existing architecture; we have experience working in historic areas, renovating period buildings with integrity. However, we aren’t afraid to press the design envelope. RPH was an early-adopter of technology and continues to use innovative software as a problem-solving tool in the design process.

We are a growing, mid-sized firm with three principals who are extremely hands-on in daily operations and all aspects of design. Each principal has an expertise that enables the firm to successfully divide its business into commercial and residential tracts. We believe the creative tension cultivated by our diverse portfolio and our respectful yet informal and fun office climate results in lasting relationships with our clients and a superior product in the built environment.
