ACS Architectural Construction Services, Costa Mesa, CA, US, Intern Architect

I played key role in designing interiors, signage’s and space planning for major companies around the USA. In 2011-2012 I was part of a ten-fifteen person group for the Starbucks Company. My responsibility was to be in charge of updating 400+ as-builds by space planning and designing new Starbucks stores. The job was primarily all over California in which I had to deal with permits and speaking directly with the various owners. In 2013, I was in charge of designing the signage’s for Hertz Company while helping create a new modern logo and restoring older Hertz buildings directly with the PA. In 2010, I was part of a larger group in space planning, designing, and creating new signage’s for the US nation-wide Toys 'R' Us stores that resulted in helping the architectural company be back and ahead on their deadline schedules that they were originally behind on. The primary software I used for my three years were: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), AutoCAD and Revit/BIM. Additionally, I am able to read plans and construction documents while completing surveys for all the companies listed. I worked alongside the PM and PA for verifying projects for their completion and even recommended major and minor adaptions in order to modify drawing sets and design ideas. By working directly with the PA and PM, I created new and innovative approaches to problems and discussed them with other associates and job captains and coordinated with other team members to review project and their schedules. Although I was an Intern Designer, I was treated as a regular junior architect and attended all team meeting to resolve technical and project related issues.
