Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios was first established in 1978 and with offices in Bath and London
They international reputation for design quality, for pioneering environmental expertise and a radical architectural approach. They won the 2008 Stirling Prize for Accordia, a scheme which is widely regarded as setting a new benchmark for housing in the UK. As well as residential they have long experience in designing for education, urban design & masterplanning, places for art and the creative reuse of historic buildings.

The Highfield School, Letchworth Garden City_a competitive bid for a £14m secondary school for 1150 students with Kier Construction. In my role as project architect, I was responsible for liaising with the Educational Funding Agency, the school & the design team.

William Perkin Church of England Academy, North Ealing, London_a £20m Academy, one of the UK’s first ‘Free Schools’ in Greater London. Kier Construction were the main contractor. It is the largest cross laminated timber (CLT) structure in the UK. I led the coordination of the mechanical & electrical services (M&E) & development of interior design packages from tender to completion. I worked on the coordination of the CLT structure & preparation of external cladding construction information. Commissioned in Feb 2012, completed Aug 2013.

The Drapers’ Academy, Havering, London_a £24 million Academy with Kier Construction as main contractor. I worked on early design stages subsequently leading design development of the interiors & coordination of M&E through to completion. I worked on site closely with the contractor & subcontractors to integrate the services to create a considered building. Commissioned in 2011, completed in May 2012.

100 East Road, Hackney, London_a £20m mixed-use project consisting of high-quality student housing, offices, cafe & retail for a private developer. I was responsible for structural coordination of both buildings & the design development of the 3 storey office block. I led design of the glazing & interior packages from tender through to completion. I addition to working in timber & brick cladding, metalwork & roofing packages I developed a 3D model which enabled us to successfully resolve complex aesthetic & technical challenges. Completed in 2009

RMJM is an international design-led firm of architects with offices throughout the UK, Asia & the Middle East. Founded in 1956, today RMJM is one of the world’s largest architectural practices with 10 international offices including Beijing, Hong Kong & London.

Cotai Strip Parcel 7&8, Sands Casino, Macau_a multi-billion dollar casino resort project in Macau for Sands Corporation. I was part of a team developing concept designs for the casinos & its 5 hotels. RIBA stage 2. I was also part of a small group of designers that took part in a 2 week design workshop in Las Vegas with the client & their inhouse designers.

Kolkata Convention Centre, India_a centre for international exhibitions & conventions of up to 3,000 people. This is the centre piece to a masterplan designed by RMJM. I actively participated in the initial concept designs of the building envelope, internal circulation spaces, performance & exhibition spaces. I attended client engagements in Hong Kong. RIBA stage 3/4.

100 Acres Clubhouse, Uniworld City, Kolkota, India_a US$1.5m multi programmed clubhouse of 4,000m2 is part of a master plan designed by RMJM. It is situated in the heart of the high-end residential area. The building contains indoor sports facilities, a spa & outdoor swimming pools, restaurant, bar, banquet hall, library, & other associated facilities. I led the design through concept to the production of detail information. RIBA stage 3/4.

Self Contained Integrated Township & SEZ at Vallancheri, Chennai, India_an international level mixed-use integrated township. A master plan of a 75-acre site split into 4 zones; IT specific Special Economic Zone, residential Township, commercial development, & school. I was part of a small team charged with master planning the site & preparing scheme design for the development. RIBA Stage 2

Bondway & Sun Hing Shing, Hong Kong, HK, Lead Designer

Sun Hing Shing Shipyard was established in 1977 specializing in design, construction & maintenance of wooden & fiberglass pleasure & liveaboard yachts.
I led the design of a new live-aboard yacht, working with their Hong Kong based shipbuilders & engineers to create a contemporary interior & superstructure. Two yachts have subsequently been built. I prepared drawings for a 1953 Hong Kong cruiser renovation which is now complete.

Bondway is a premium motor yacht designer & builder established in 1988. It has a range of fiberglass yachts varying from 55 to 100 feet in length customised to client’s requirements.
I led the design of 8 custom yacht interiors including some superstructure remodeling. I collaborated with marine engineers & teams of ship builders at the shipyards in Zhu Hai, S.E.Z., China. I worked with a small team of Hong Kong based carpenters & engineers to provide an after sale service to clients. I development new superstructure designs, some of which were completed in 2007.

Jenny Jones MP & London Mayoral Candidate 2012, London, Lead Designer

On a private basis I designed & supervised the construction of a 1970s steel narrow barge renovation into living accommodation for the client & her partner. The total cost of the project was approximately £75k.

Sheppard Robson, London, Assistant architect

Sheppard Robson is a partnership founded in 1938. The practice’s founding principles are innovation & sustainability. Projects undertaken include workplaces, office, leisure & retail buildings. I worked on a variety of projects in the commercial sectors from feasibility, tender & construction stages.

Block W8, Regent Street, London_redevelopment of half an urban block off Regent St. Creation of a new commercial office space, retail, and residential behind partly retained facade and new in fils. The project incorporates listed buildings and sits within the Mayfair and Regents St. conservation areas. The total cost £52m. I participated in the preparation of the scheme and detail design package. The project was completed in ‘04

Paddington Central, Phase 2, London_this project is part of the Paddington Basin urban rejuvenation scheme of varied use classes. The building represents 250,000ft2 of speculative commercial office space with a budget of £35m. The site is immediately above the new Cross Rail Box. I participated in site analysis, taking part in the initial design stages of the project. Revised scheme design as a result of meetings with planers and client. I prepared drawings for planning submission. The project was completed in ‘04

95 Queen Victoria St., London_is a £23m office block commercial office building with a lettable floor area of 7,500m2. The site is in London city centre near St. Paul’s and The Millennium Bridge. I spent my time on site with the project manager inspecting the interior of the building and some of the external facade. The project was completed in ‘03.
