For me, architecture is about the act of making. I view it as a very hands-on iterative process, which requires engaging all the senses. Architecture is in a unique position, as it can be a tool in which we shape emotions, make political statements, or address social issues. As designers, we have an accountability to design responsibly and sustainably, while tackling these important topics.
