Terminal Transfer Station in Zarate

It was designed and built by the architects Jorge Rocchi, Estefano Rocchi and Duccio Rocchi, at the Urban Development Institute of Zárate ( IDUZ ) / Secretary of Public Works and Services.

The Transfer Station centralize short and medium distance lines connecting the historical building of the Mitre Railway Station, which was restored with new design.

The materials used in this work are reinforced concrete columns, aluminized sheet roof and structural metal arches.

The particularity of the columns is the variation of vibrant colors that mark the stops of each bus. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜💖🌈

The construction of the Transfer Station also means value the property of former Ferrocarril Mitre. The project try to consolidate a integrated transport system involving cities as Lima, Zarate and Campana to Buenos Aires.

Project executed by the Zárate City Hall, Osvaldo Cáffaro Government.
