This project utilizes transparent materials and tectonic structure to create safe, 4-season, public, interstitial spaces. The program consists of a public art museum and facilities to host the weekly farmers market on the site of a currently existing city owned parking structure. A formal language was developed to tie both projects together utilizing three different scales. This formal agenda was developed as a response to both safety concerns related to the large transient population of the site and the need for shelter in the public spaces.
