Robert is an interior architect currently based in Providence, Rhode Island. He received his Master of Design in Interior Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, and his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College, where he studied Environmental Science and Art History/Studio. With a focus on adaptive reuse, he transforms historic buildings into environments that promote social dynamism and foster healthy communities.
For more than four years, he has worked in Business Development, Marketing, and PR, collaborating with some of New York City's premier design firms, including Diller Scofidio + Renfro, WXY architecture + urban design, AvroKO, and SOM.
Robert is also a classically trained cellist and an avid printmaker with experience in intaglio and woodcut relief.

Agency of Adaptive Reuse, Award
My design thesis, "Remembering Chinatown", was recognized for its "Agency of Adaptive Reuse" and its use of design to address cultural erasure.
