The proposed Seaside Aquatics Center was designed to meet  locale, regional, national and international competition standards for 4 Olympic aquatic sports - swimming, water polo, diving and synchronized swimming.  The retractable glass walls allowed for spectator seating to expand from 5,000 to 20,000.
