About

Robert Pekrul was raised in Lexington Kentucky and graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar Highschool in 2010. Upon graduation he attended the University of Kentucky College of Design where he took an interest in Architectural Design as a major while also pursuing a minor in business.  While there, he explored many methods and mediums in which architecture could be implemented into the world people live and work while developing his own personal goals and philiosophies that he believes are imperative for architectural discourse.  His accomplishments include the 2012 UK CoD Outstanding Student Award, Ponce De Leon Academic Scholarship, and an internship at Morphosis Architects NY.  Robert graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture having Magna cum Laude standing and went on to work for Greg Luhan Studio where he researched and designed low-income prefabricated housing units. While working, he gained experience ranging from schematic design to working construction drawings. Robert currently lives in Lexington Kentucky where he is applying to multiple graduate schools for possible future enrolment in the fall 2015 academic year.
