RhineScheme GmbH is an integrated, multidisciplinary design group with a 40-year history of planning and architectural design, as well as project management. RhineScheme has around 200 designers in Germany (Cologne, Hamburg, Leipzig), China (Beijing, Shanghai) and the United States (Philadelphia).

RhineScheme is committed to creating a comprehensive design solution for every project from the outset. Our integrated design team consists of architects, urban and landscape planners, interior designers, as well as specialists, engineers and consultants from various fields. RhineScheme aims to find a sustainable solution to better adapt the changing market. Our aim is to integrate local, smart, low-carbon concepts, utilizing local resources, while at the same time creating innovative and creative solutions which are practical and feasible. Our practical experience is based on international teaching and research.   

Since 2004, RhineScheme has been focusing on the Chinese market and has a localized international design team with experts from both China and abroad. Based on a balanced application of Chinese and German management experience, Rhine Scheme Beijing office focuses on large-scale urban planning and architectural projects as well as the application of eco-architectural technology. Rhine Scheme Beijing office has a team of approximately 30 architects and planners (half Chinese, half foreigners). They have localized experience, are familiar with the Chinese design situation and culture, and are able to incorporate international design concepts and solutions into projects.
