About

As Project Manager/Job Captain I directed the projects time schedule, production of documents, coordination with the engineers, Life Safety code and responded to the building comments. I directed my projects from C.O.N. on through to license of occupancy.

Along with Project management, I served as a Senior Medical Equipment Planner. Met with the users and assisted with prioritizing the departmental needs along with the space programming for each department. Held the user group meetings in which I developed the equipment plans. Met with the equipment representative and coordinated the plan lay-outs. Assisted with the scheduling, supervised the completion of the room data sheets and equipment books.

As Construction Administrator/QAQC; I was responsible for the R.F.I. responses and addendums. Review the shop drawings and coordinate the field changes with the engineers and the contractors. Headed the project meetings and would oversee progress of construction. Coordinate the close-out documents, review quality of construction, issue the punch list and review all the warranties submitted to the owner.

As a Senior Architectural Designer, I designed a variety of projects with different degrees of complexity and size. They have included renovations of existing hospital facilities, developing future multi-story regional hospital campus, open heart surgeries, etc., from schematic design to final contract documents. I was responsible to verify that all facility life safety issues, state requirements, fire compartment requirements, etc. were met.

My NCARB (National Council Architectural Registration Board) record number is 4229373. I have completed the State of Colorado’s experience requirement’s (Training Units), which have been patterned after the National Council of Architect Registration Board’s (NCARB) Intern Development Program (IDP). I do not have a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. The position and status I currently have and obtained is not an equivalent to a bachelor’s degree; however I have exceeded the number of training units, therefore it allows me to become a Registered License Architect. I am currently studying to take the ARE (Architectural Registration Exam).
