The REHAU Aspekt™ 1800 outswing casement window product line, comprising Aspekt and Aspekt+, continues to set a new standard in the window market with its innovative design and functionality. Both systems break dependency on fasteners with a fully integrated screen channel on the frame, which eliminates interference with handle operation. This integrated channel offers a seamless and sleek appearance that complements the modern aesthetics of residential and commercial buildings. Additionally, REHAU Aspekt+ allows for larger window openings when paired with the latest hardware advancements in the market. This compatibility supports window dimensions up to 40 inches wide and 90 inches high, with a sash weight capacity of up to 200 pounds. The integration of these features demonstrates REHAU’s commitment to delivering high-quality windows that meet the evolving needs of window fabricators and end-users.

Manufactured in North America, the Aspekt 1800 line features a proprietary co-extruded triple-seal technology for optimal air and water tightness, improving insulating properties and fortifying longevity. The continuous frame concept allows for multi-lite configurations within one frame, enhancing design flexibility and manufacturing efficiencies. Offered in fixed, awning and casement styles and a wide range of colors, REHAU Aspekt 1800 windows can be configured in various combinations to meet specific project requirements. This robust product line is designed for energy efficiency, noise reduction, low maintenance, and enhanced safety and security. With a 3 1/4 in (83 mm) frame depth and 1 11/16 in (43 mm) glazing capacity, the system is designed to achieve U-values down to 0.17, STC ratings up to 40 dB, OITC 34 and structural NAFS ratings up to CW-PG100.

The top-of-the-line Aspekt+ model is designed to meet stringent Passive House requirements while addressing the growing demand for larger windows in residential and commercial construction, allowing fabricators to build up to 30% larger openings. This system features a strength-enhancing sash made from REHAU’s patented RAU-FIPRO® glass-fiber reinforced PVC material. The sash – comprising a UV-resistant PVC outer layer and a glass-fiber reinforced PVC inner core – enables Aspekt+ to outperform alternative casements. This innovation provides superior thermal comfort, acoustic insulation and structural performance, with U-values down to 0.14, STC ratings up to 42 dB, OITC 34 and structural NAFS ratings up to CW-PG100.

“Aspekt+ 1800 already delivers incredible strength advantages with its RAU-FIPRO sash,” said Randy Hoover, manager of design for the window solutions division at REHAU North Americas. “By integrating the latest hardware technology for casement windows, the market can fully leverage the robustness of Aspekt+, enabling larger dimensions and expanding project possibilities.”
