Reem is an architecture & interior designer and entrepreneur based in Manhattan. Reem's experience spans from teaching & material science to the technical nuts-and-bolts of prefab; while pursuing research in art, sustainable materials, virtual & artificial technology and social justice.
Reem is frequently a design critic at Columbia GSAPP, UC Berkeley and California College of the Arts, and is actively involved in several organizations, from ambassador for Women in Construction NYC, mentor at the Architectural League NY, co-founder of San Francisco-based design group N.ARK.O (New Arkitecture Organization) and collaborator at Guinea-based social entreprise Kaloum Bankhi building in Conakry.
A certified LEED AP professional, an associate of the American Institute of Architects, on the Catalyst Committee at International Interior Design Association NY Chapter and an associate of National Organization of Minority Architects. Reem earned a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University and a B.A Architecture from UC Berkeley.
