Raman Mustafa is a Los Angeles based designer and technologist. He received his B.S. in Architecture from University of Texas at Arlington (2010), and completed his Master’s degree from UCLA's Architecture and Urban Design (2014).
Raman's research largely focuses on technology and its effect on human experience and perception. His graduate research explores the relationship and future influence of machine learning and additive manufacturing, and their impact on formal design and production. Raman's background working with narrative driven architecture during his studies with Disney Imagineering, combined with his passion and expertise in robotics and advanced production techniques, gives him a unique toolset to work with interdisciplinary team of artists, architects, and data scientists to develop immersive environments that deliver narratives with a fresh approach.
Currently, Raman is concurrently delivering design projects at RAMUS, and serves as a design and robotics director on technology driven exhibition designs and performances with Refik Anadol Studio LLC.
