{Production Space} The physical area where products are extracted, formulated, processed and distributed {Productive Space} Combines these processes with a playful character that engages social dialogue
In rural India, compared to an individual's private farmland, the public realm is currently seen as a less relevant space. "The Rural Public" reconsiders cultural attitudes towards the public realm that could help the community of Kerala organize itself by creating a healthier eco-system and improving the production of resources through architectural intentions. This thesis looks at how productive spaces in the small village of Areekara could be activated through the means of rubber production.
