I AM AN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER, goof, foodie, and aspiring do-gooder. In 2011, I earned my Bachelor of Architecture degree with an emphasis on design from Oklahoma State University. I also received minors in both Spanish and Architectural History and Theory. Upon graduation, I packed up and moved to New Haven, Connecticut to start my life in the Northeast and work at the firm Pickard Chilton.
Currently, I am a member of a two person project team for the River Point project, a 1.2 million square foot tower situated at the confluence of the three branches of the Chicago River. Having been on the project since March 2013, I have seen the project through design development, construction documents, and am in the process of starting the construction administration phase.
In addition to River Point, I have been an active member of design teams for a variety of large scale projects and master plans in locations such as Japan; Brazil; and the United States. For The Office Building of the Future national design competition, I played a key role in the research and design of the project and led its workflow coordination. I also designed, managed and installed the Pickard Chilton exhibition ‘Designing Relationships’ at both the Oklahoma State University School of Architecture and the Iowa State University College of Design.
