The Wellington Information Kiosk project was an intensive design, build, and research program established between the University of Toronto, Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, and the town of Wellington Ontario. The purpose of this collaborative project was for a newly designed and upgraded information kiosk that functions as the entry point for tourists into and around the town of Wellington. The overall design ofthe Kiosk draws direct inspiration from thecraftsmanship and creativity of the town. The Kiosk'sfacade exhibits strong quilting patterns that can alsobe seen displayed outside in many of the town'sestablishments. All participating studentscollaborated with Studio North instructors MatthewKennedy and Mark Erickson, and contributed in thedesign and build feature of the project. My main taskwas to produce the plan of the Kiosk.
