I work as an assistant manager at a kitchen appliance retailer while I complete my education. It has been highly beneficial to get experience in that industry because it has helped me learn many things that I didn't realize would assist in my designs. Many clients are remodeling or building entirely new homes, so it is exciting to hear their varying design choices as they renovate.
When I’m not working, I enjoy tending to my collection of houseplants or spending time with my dog, Goose. In regard to my plants, I have over 100 of them if you count the ones outside in my garden, so you could say I'm a bit of an enthusiast. When it comes to Goose, we enjoy taking hikes together or playing with the garden hose outside. Otherwise, I enjoy reading, cooking, or playing one of my instruments in my free time.

Best Set Design in a Production, 1st Place
I was presented a Cappies Award in 2019 for Best Set Design in a Theatrical Production, which I won for my work on my school's Little Shop of Horrors production. I received the award for taking an innovative approach to the design, which included a rotating circular stage piece for quick set changes and a fully-operable slide disguised as the plant monster for the show, which allowed it to eat the actors on stage.
