Open Source Urbanism

OPEN SOURCE URBANISM: To make flexible places that can adapt to current times, respond to the users' behaviors, and open to evolutionary rules instead of close and strict codes.

Los Angeles is probably one the most disperse city in the United States. It has many different
centers, which have different cultures and characters. Those centers are always competing with each other by grabbing the resources to make themselves stronger. So will there be a winner in the future? I don't think so. This is a game with no reward.

In the perspective of the whole city's development, the diverse cultures and identities of different places are great assets. If I can find a way to let different centers share their unique products instead of competing with each other, the collaboration could greatly improve each centers' development, and people will no longer need to drive far away for a particular product, because that product could be moved to their center.
