Currently I am going through a period of changes in my life and reconsidering what is important for me. I have found that being proactive and/or hard working is not always enough. I have been working for more than 20 years of my life, 11 of which have been in the architecture and design field and I have discovered that, in my opinion, there is always a need to feel everything, to dig deeper, to improve every day, to crave being a better individual and professional in a time where believes, knowledge and culture are endless.

I have discovered that, for me, my profession is not only a job. How have I found out this? I have recently ran into multiple files in my computer that I have named “anti-stress, 01 02…” where I design houses or spaces just for the sake of it. Just for the liberating feeling it leaves on me.  Just so I can distract my mind. I realized that seeing or witnessing some things that involve design or art can give me the chills or even get me emotional.

What I do is my passion and, I notice it when even in the hardest times some images or words related to this field can improve my mood.

With all that said, I am not looking for you to feel what I feel but for you to understand that with me,  you will find a person willing to grow, to improve and to enjoy every task, every project, every challenge that might be part of his next working experience.
