Flywheel

The design team brought Polynomial in early to work through the details of several custom components for Flywheel’s new office space including the feature staircase, CNC-machined panels cladding the entry door, and a matching pegboard wall.

A complicated effort, to say the least, the feature stair is composed of half-inch thick water jet cut steel! Polynomial provided several samples to test varying fabrication techniques as well as the transparency of the perforation. Additionally, we coordinated a full-scale mockup to ensure everyone was on board with the assembly before fabrication began.

The final subassemblies were craned in through the skylight and you better believe we were on-site to ensure the handoff went smoothly!
