Pfeiffer designed the new Performing Arts Center at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Potsdam, the first new academic building constructed on campus since 1973. It accommodates the academic and performance needs of theater and dance, bringing both disciplines together in an integrated, highly activated facility designed for LEED Silver certification. The building includes a 375-seat proscenium theater, a 200-seat black box theater, faculty offices, student organization space, dressing rooms, a green room, a scene shop, a costume shop and associated storage, a gracious lobby, a café, a digital audio and recording studio and performer support spaces.
