It was 1988. Two young British guys were skiing in the French Alps, had an idea, and started to talk. What if they started selling tees and sweats, and made enough money to carry on skiing? And what if it was possible to live their dreams by setting up a small business with a big heart?

Their favourite ski run was ‘La Face’ in Val D’Isere, a ‘black-run’ which inspired their company name FatFace. Over 25 years later they still love adventure, love life and have the same strong values. They still make clothes that reflect the happy, healthy and active lifestyles of their customers.

The Newport, RI location is the first in a series of U.S. collaborations between Bergmeyer and Fatface, setting the bar for their very own "American Invasion".
