The renovation of a country house, in the surroundings of Barcelona, into the residence of a fashion designer. One of the issues was the designing of open spaces with natural light in a traditional construciton usually built without this characteristics.
In the enlargement efforts were made to conjugate a contemporany lenguage with a local architectural style.
Old materials, like the wooden floorings, the doors and furniture elements gave the construction a warmth typical of the area. The volume of the enlargement further creates a continuity of the interior spaces, bending itself to embrace the swimming pool ant the garden creating new ponints of wiew
