Fragsus

The building is based is the cube when you join and subtract parts of the cube we get two dynamic elements.

The Fragsus building is totally residential with 44 apartments and 3 local commercial on the ground floor with large transparency windows allowing its opening to its own plaza center.

The apartments  ranging in this building goes from 72 m2  for students to 288 m2 for biger families spread over eight stories, also features an upper terrace for the social area of the building.

The entrance to the complex is given by four ports that are marked by the subtractions of the building where you can go throw the street or plaza and from the plaza get into the building.

This building incorporates the geometric basic shapes such as the square where it creates internal divisions, subtractions and rotations on each floor. This allows each floor is different from each other, each subtraction creates terraces or double down heightsto give more movement to solid volume.

To improve the rythm of the building, the windows make a game between heights. In each terrace or window can be seen the different views either to the Bicentennial Park or to the place of meeting.

Its structure was designed so that the stories will be free, has 8 diaphragms allowing sustain large beams and well not have columns that cut visibility in their facades.

These diaphragms are located at the two cores of the building, marking a solid space to place the vertical circulation.

This building has a visual confort and spacacial, also has terraces on each floor to improve social environments.
