BRIEF INTRODUCTION:

The park design concept is inspired by the Mongolian unique landscape. The use of the waving geometry of hills and valleys are effective design tool to separate functions within the park and in the same time is useful to creating an authentic environment. The Park represents the Mongolian nature and the developing future of Ulaanbaatar.
                
 The ICP  design concept organised into 5 zones
ZONE 1 - The Cultural facilities are placed here, such as the Institute of the Hunnu studies and virtual museum, Children’s interactive science museum, Science & Technology and Innovation Center of the international “MARS-V” project; country’s promotion space, Hand craft and trade street. This zone host the commercial and business tower including administrative and operation offices for ICP. On the level 1 the international restaurants, “The Hu Rock Band” multifunctional event are located.

ZONE 2 - "Valley of culture" Its an area designated to host cultural events, international festivals and concerts. It is surrounded with siting surfaces for visitors, futher more this area includes a lake and an open stage for the different events.    
ZONE 3 - The Multi-functional sports courts includes two major field for any type of games. One of the is designed with with a covered grandstand. The sport facilities are connected underground and can be accessed from the main gathering point, but also from the park level.    
ZONE 4 - Leisure areas for families and children's, including the mini-park for pets to walk and play, the 4 season theme parks for children and a small lake to provide a microclimate.
ZONE 5 - Renewable energy house. The design has a special focus on renewable energies and green approach. We integrated the "NORM" water management system which can provide grey water management and irrigation support.     
ICP is supported  by "Smart irrigation control", this modern methods of irrigation utilized by cloud-automated and timed sprinkler systems. We are planning the irrigation with a combination of dripping and subsurface drip systems.

Access and public transport

The ICP has three main level, except the commercial and business tower.
Arrival level - At the arrival level the public transportation connections, the drop of zones, parking, and the main gathering area of the park is located. The public circulation routes on the arrival level connects all the important functions and facilities. Vertical circulation is placed at important junctions to serve accessible to every level of the park.

Level 1 - Level 1 is an intermediate level in ZONE 1, it host the “The Hu Rock Band” multifunctional event hall with double height, and the international restaurants and other food courts.This level also have a direct access to the “valley of culture” upper part on the park level.
Park level - Most of the functions is covered with green surface in ICP, but all of them have access to the park. The park level provides an exciting usability and view for the visitors. The fuctional units of the park is can be accessed via the public routes that are wide enough for pedestrian, bicycles and any type of electric vichele.
The park surface is creating a visual barier between the functions and make it possible to hold different events in the same time. The sport courts, the children theme park, the "valley of culture" space can hold simultaneously events and in the same time the buried functions of the museum can function properly. In addition the museum have their own open public space which is partially covered with a roof structure to be able to hold any kind of events.

Areas
The built in area in the arrival level including parking and communal spaces is approx.: 95.000 m2
The commercial and business tower including administrative and operation offices for ICP has 25 levels and its 143 meter tall, at the top level a lookout point is located.
The tower has 56.000 m2 net floor area.

Vegetation in icp
We are using local trees, bushes and other small flowered vegetations to create authentic environment. The design strategy is to reflect the Mongolian landscape. We indicate to plant the forest type of vegetation on the lower section of the park and closer to the higher elevation using smaller bushes and flowers. Around the lakes of the park we are planning a rich littoral zones to create natural environment.
