This office space, in the DUMBO section of Brooklyn, was designed on the site of a vacant brick building. The office space was to be designed to accommodate the various city agencies brought together by Mayor Bloomberg’s PlaNYC. The space was designed with three levels on the north side and two levels on the south side. There is a large open space dividing the two sides that is connected by stairs and ramps. The offices are located on the north side’s three levels and the south side’s two levels accommodate workstations. The railings are designed specifically for this project and their design relates to the inclined travel of stairs and ramps. The full presentation of this project is
