New ways of working. Never more as these years we have seen a dematerialization of the work, with more dynamic employment contracts, sharing working spaces, homeworking. Flexibility, dynamism, ability to fit along the working enviroment changes is a must have feature that very few people can afford to avoid.
The dematerialization happens inside the working enviroment too: less paper is printed, the informations are shared even more wirelessly. The necessity of frequent travels from professionals, creatives, freelance, leads to a reduction of the size of computers and other electronic devices.
New ways of employment contracts, sharing spaces or houseworking, leads to a different use of the space: for instance, a workspace could be shared by different persons during the working daytime, or the same persons could have different jobs. Moreover, the worker could be at home and need a very functional workspace but at the same time it can be settled up quickly or converted for other uses when the professional is free from work.
"Emma" suspended desk is intended to meet all these needs, with a design that aim to appear neutral from its enviroment. Hides wires, arrange objects and stores inside it all the working tools giving an idea of order, phisical as mental.
