Olive & Ivy

9,000 SF - New bar & restaurant within a mixed used development

The design inspiration for Olive & Ivy Restaurant is based on a contemporary interpretation of the Moroccan style. The result is a rich and multi-faceted environment that hints to its traditional roots, and yet provides intrigue and interest in a modern Scottsdale context. This is a place where rich woods, ornate carvings, and fabrics draped in venerable Moroccan fashion are contrasted by an elaborate and delicate custom glass chandelier. Historic precedence gives way to a hanging forest of raw filaments, and the traditional hues of the desert, sea and the sun blend seamlessly with a bold modern palette born of the 21st century.

Morocco is a land of extremes, and layering allows for quick change to suit the climate. Indoor and outdoor environments flow in and out of each other at Olive & Ivy in the true spirit of leisure and complexity born in the Moroccan heritage.
