These speakers were made in part for my love of music and of wood as a honest material.  They were both hand crafted in traditional wood working techniques with a desire for quality function and aesthetics.  As far as sustainability goes both speakers were made from damaged speaker components, the Bast fiber speaker uses plant fibers with a hundred day life cycle that are impregnated with polypropylene so they may be thermoset with a two part mold and a heating apparatus.
