This Project explores the notion of formation in architecture. The mixed-use extension to moma is building that transforms in Form and Program from bottom to top , creating a formation of different blended conditions.  The building starts from the tight grid of the city and spirals to the top breaking free, taking advantage of the various views of Manhattan at different angles.
The program includes public programs such as museum galleries, restaurants, retail etc  at the lower levels and becomes more private at the high levels with residences and artist studios.
