The assigned site was the area by historic Ramsis railway station in downtown Cairo. This deteriorated area of Cairo was once the business centre of the city; however, the neglect of regulations, uncontrolled development and overall degradation of the entire district has lead to an inefficient, poorly functioning center.

The project’s goal was to create a vision for an renewed central business district that promotes economic growth and potentials within the city.
